Comments by Simranjit Singh Mann: Shiromani Akali Dal (Amritsar) states that we appeal to the rightwing Hindutva Union Government to dispatch wheat to Sudan by the American heavy left Hercules and AN-32 planes as Punjab has had a bumper wheat crop this season and there will be know dearth of grain as Punjab & Haryana will again produce a gigantic paddy crop.

To save the people of Sudan from starvation should be a major policy of the Hindu Indian state. The Sikhs desire that humanitarian aid should be rushed to suffering Sudan.
