Communist China and Hindu India are in the same boat, a weak economy and a lack of democracy. Simranjit Singh Mann

The Tribune Dated 4th January, 2022

Comments by Simranjit Singh Mann: Shiromani Akali Dal (Amritsar) states that we should not blame Xi Jinping. After about seventy five years of arbitrary rule a country’s economy without democracy gets sick.

This is happening in THIS (Theocratic Hindu Indian state) where BJP – RSS Union Government of Primer Narendra Modi has bought out the Media, electronic and print and snuffed out debate in Parliament.

The Tribune, the leader of the pack in our region, has also rendered itself to become a victim of the Hindutva rage.

The Hindu Indian state has, a part of it Ladakh surrendered its territory to Communist China.

With a weak economy, leading to a weak military and thus a weak diplomacy, have all like Communist China’s fall become weak. The value of the rupee is falling rapidly. The Hindu state has a trade deficit of $72 billion and yet has not given up trade with Communist China.

When Hindu India gives up one of its major strengths, that being democracy, then the fall of the state is obvious. For instance, it has shut out debate in Parliament about the military debacle with Communist China. Hiding its neck in the sand like an ostrich does not offer a solution.
