Lucky, Times of India tells us we have Muslims in Gujarat. Serendipitous. – Simranjit Singh Mann

Comments by Sardar Simranjit Singh Mann : Shiromani Akali Dal (Amritsar) states that this is a great discovery by the Times of India that Muslims in Gujarat are still alive and kicking. It is like Stanley finding Dr. Livingstone on Lake Tanganyika in 1871.
We had presumed that the Muslims in Gujarat had been massacred in the regime of Chief Minister Narendra Modi in 2002 when he was the Chief Minister of that state. Then, now Union Home Minister Mr. Amit Shah had said before Gujarat went to the polls this November “Taught a lesson in 2002”. The rapists and murderers of Bibi Bano a Muslim, who were sentenced to life imprisonment were given a reprieve and set free on 15th August 2022 from prison, creating an atmosphere of polarization before the Gujarat poll, enabling the majoritarians to vote en masse for Premier Narendra Modi and his extremist political outfit the BJP- RSS.
That is why we gave credit to the Times of India for telling us that there are Muslims in Gujarat and have found a voice in the Gujarat Legislative Assembly. Totally serendipitous.
