Sikh and Muslim prisoners in the Hindu Indian state are being tortured and detained without substance. Simranjit Singh Mann.

Sardar Jagtar Singh Jaggi Johal has spent five years in prison in Tihar Jail, Delhi and he is still an under-trail prisoner. The United Nation and former Prime Minister of UK Mr. Boris Johnson have also said that his arrest is arbitrary.

On the other hand the rapists and murderers of Bibi Bano of Gujarat who were sentenced to life imprisonments have been prematurely released from prison by the ruling Union Modi Government.

In the other case the head of the Sacha Sauda mission Ram Rahim who has been jailed for rape and murder has also been released on parole three times.

Our party is wondering whether the Sikh political prisoners, undergoing imprisonment for the last 25 years will ever be released.

I am a member of parliament and currently on a visit to Delhi where important Sikh and Kashmiri prisoners are in the infamous Tihar Jail. I had saught permission from the authority of Tihar Jail to meet Jathedar Jagtar Singh Hawara, Yaseen Malik and Shabir Shah but permission to see them has been refused.

I have also been disallowed to enter Jammu & Kashmir where under arbitrary laws the Hindu Indian state is committing horrendous crimes against the Kashmiri Muslims.

I wish to give this information to all who are interested in the welfare and human rights of the sub-continental people.
