Hindu India’s relations with Russia will impede good relations with Britain. Simranjit Singh Mann.

The Tribune dated 26th October 2022.

Comments by Simranjit Singh Mann: Shiromani Akali Dal (Amritsar) states that since a foreign policy of Britain has competed with its economic policy, we do not think Britain will be able to smoothen its relations with the Hindu Indian state. The reason is that the Hindu Indian state and Russia are thick as thieves, whereas Britain has through history suspected Russian designs and presently Britain supports Ukraine against its invasion by Russia, presently in 2022 and earlier in 2014.

They economy of Britain is in dire straits and if the Hindu Indian state invests in British-German tanks-Challengers-3 and buys 200 of these which Hindu India needs as most of its tanks are obsolete and are unlikely to compete with an Islamic Pakistan and Communist China’s thrust, in the highlands of the Himalaya’s or the sandy plains of Rajasthan and the flatlands of the Punjab. That is the only way we can think that the Hindu Indian state can improve its relations with Britain as in the West no country knows whether the Hindu state will stick to its QUAD stand with US, Australia and Japan.

Such a policy reminds one of a hare coming into the flood lights of a car at night. The rabbit wavers whether to escape to the left or the right, in the midst of this muddle, it is over run by the car. That is the Hindu Indian state. On the other hand Napoleon said Britain is a nation of shopkeepers. Therefore, we have suggested the Challenger-3 tank deal.
