Comments by Simranjit Singh Mann: Shiromani Akali Dal (Amritsar) states that it is obvious that the Union Government of the BJP-RSS led by Premier Modi wants to formalise its policy of carrying out targeted killings abroad, of the minorities.
It is clear that this policy has been on the table for sometime during the Premiership of Narendra Modi. As a result it has carried out assassinations of Sikhs abroad and within the country giving them the false nomenclature of “designated terrorists”.
This policy as we see is totally against the law and International Law. The Parliament Panel which has drafted this policy has not given it any legal framework.
Hence it is a policy which will not only be tested in law and the courts and also by the US Commission on International Religious Freedom, UN Human Rights Commission. Our party apposes this policy tooth and nail.
