Comments by Simranjit Singh Mann: Shiromani Akali Dal (Amritsar) states that it is of the view that the ASI is hand in glove with the fanatical ideology of the BJP-RSS and its Union Government led by Premier Modi in rooting out traces of Islam in this country.
Now the Gyanvapi mosque and the Mathura mosque are on the target of these fanatics and we think these Islamic places of worship will also be demolished.
Yesterday, I was present in the Parliament when Prime Minister Modi applauded his party’s policy of building the Ram Mandir on the very site of the demolished Islamic Babri Masjid in 1992.
The treasury benches were full of pride and hubris, and they were shouting, whereas one does not shout in Parliament, their slogan was RAM RAJ has now been established.
It was a sickening moment for a Sikh like me to hear all this fanatic Hindu bombast. I wonder how the other minorities their Members of Parliament felt during this very thundering Nazi Hitler like speech of Mr. Narendra Modi.
