Comments by Simranjit Singh Mann: Shiromani Akali Dal (Amritsar) states that the Hindu Indian state and its army does not put any trust in Sikh and Muslim officers as is apparent from this report.
We are still being kept in the dark as to the three civilians murdered in extra judicial murders in Topa Peer Village in Bafliaz. Our party is anxious to know whether the army officers responsible for these gruesome murders have been booked under the law 302 IPC.
We also do not know what action the Union and the state governments have taken against the brutal massacre of 43 innocent Sikhs in Village Chitthisinghpura of Kashmir in 2000. It must be recalled that these killings were committed during the visit of former President Bill Clinton and his Secretary of State Madeline Albright. Madam Albright mentions this macabre misdeed by the Hindu Indian army in her memoirs.
