Why does the Hindu Indian press denigrate the Sikh’s? Simranjit Singh Mann, Member of Parliament
Editorial of The Tribune dated 08th January 2024, entitled “Biased outburst”. We place below the editorial of The Tribune which has spewed venom on the US Commission on International Religious Freedom (USCIRF).
The Tribune dated 08th January 2024

For taking action against the Hindu Indian state for its religious bias against its minorities, specifically now that it is clear that the Hindu Indian Union Government of Premier Narendra Modi has assassinated Sikhs in Canada, UK, Islamic Pakistan and within THIS (Theocratic Hindu Indian State). In the USA, the Hindu Indian state made an attempt on the life of a USA Sikh national Gurpatwant Singh Pannu which was foiled by an alert US state.
As a result of these killings President Joe Biden has declined Hindu India’s request for him to preside over the Republic Day Parade on 26th January in Delhi. The US has also shown a flurry of activity by sending its Secretary of State Mr. Antony Blinken, Secretary of Defence Mr. Lloyd James Austin, National Security Advisor Mr. Jake Sullivan and Director of the FBI Mr. A. Wray to THIS (Theocratic Hindu Indian State) to probe the assassinations of Hardeep Singh Nijjar, Ripudaman Singh Malik and Sukhdool Singh in Canada, Avtar Singh Khanda in UK, Paramjit Singh Panjwar and Lakhbir Singh Rode in Islamic Pakistan and Deep Singh Sidhu in Haryana and Subhdeep Singh Sidhu Moosewala in the Punjab, besides the attempt to kill US Sikh citizen Gurpatwant Singh Pannu. As such we think it is an opportune time to put the Hindu Indian state on the Countries/Entities of Particular Concern (CPC/EPC).
The Tribune should not split hairs as it has a wide range of Sikh readers of its newspaper. If, as yet US Commission on International Religious Freedom has not put Israel on the CPC/EPC, then we are sure that the US will move in that direction as The Tribune must study the Helsinki Accords where since long the US has carried out a fight for democracy, freedom of religion and preservation of Human Rights.
What objection can The Tribune have if the US Commission on International Religious Freedom has not put Israel on the CPC/EPC when it has put the Hindu Indian state on this list for the genocide, memoricide, vandalism and ethnocide of the Sikh peoples? The Tribune should be concerned about the Sikhs, let the Israelis follow suit for the crimes The Tribune states it has committed.
The Hindu Indian press is enraged that US Commission on International Religious Freedom has recommended that the Hindu Indian state be put on the CPC/EPC. Are not Sikhs dear to The Tribune and its readers?
Herewith we put out another report of The Tribune dated 07th January 2024 entitled “US religious freedom panel mum on Israel’s bombing of Gaza Strip”.

The reporter of this news Mr. Sandeep Dikshit takes great umbrage that whereas the Hindu state has been put on the CPC/EPC by the US Commission on International Religious Freedom why Israel has not? These are the slurs, ridicule and insults we Sikhs suffer every day under the Jackboots of the Hindu Indian state.
After 1947 when the British gave away their Indian Empire to the majoritarian Hindu, every year on 26th January the military bands would play the tune- “Abide with me”. Since last year this hymn has been obliterated from the music the bands played on 26th January. It shows how fast the Hindu Indian state is moving away from its secular credentials and becoming a Hindu theocratic state. The US Commission on International Religious Freedom must take note of this new change towards Hindutva.
Since the Defence Minister Mr. Rajnath Singh is currently on a visit to UK the Arch Bishop of Canterbury must enquire from his Prime Minister Mr. Rishi Sunak why the former British colony’s secular credentials are being eradicated by Hindutva?
This is a retrograde step which goes against Sikhism, Christianity, Islam, Buddhism, Jainism, Parsi and other religious denominations. In 1999 an Australian Christian Priest Stains and his two sons were burnt alive by a Hindu fanatic in Orissa state. The Press then described this gruesome crime in these words- “Even in death they were inseparable. Charred beyond recognition and reduced to fragile frames of ashes, the three bodies lay clinging to each other in what must have been a vain attempt to protect each other and escape the mob”.
Vladimir Bidenov and Pavel Antov, two Russian dissidents died mysterious deaths in Orissa on 27th December 2022. The reason for their deaths has never been probed by the Hindu Indian state as it has very close diplomatic relations with Russia. Alexander Litvinenko a Russian secret agent was put to death by the KGB, now Federal Security Service on 23rd November 2006. He was poisoned in Britain by the Russians with the poison Polonium-210.
We Sikhs suspect that a Sikh patriot Avtar Singh Khanda was similarly put to death in Birmingham on 15th June 2023 by administrating a similar poison- Polonium-210 which is available with the Russian intelligence agency with which the Hindu Indian intelligence agency R&AW has close contacts. We would not say anything about this assassination of Khanda as the British newspaper The Guardian makes it very clear- “Conservative MP writes to home secretary over Sikh activist’s sudden death”
