Comments by Simranjit Singh Mann: Shiromani Akali Dal (Amritsar) states that we don’t understand the custom of Chief Minister’s and others presenting a Bouquet of flowers to Premier Narendra Modi and Home Minister Shah.
What will they do to these precious and beautiful flowers that cost thousands of rupees, as this is a European custom. The BJP-RSS Union Government is very proud that it has done away with the legacy of the British Raj. Why is it being brought in through the back door? Sheer hypocrisy.
When such presentation is not in the culture of Hindutva, we do not understand why such Bouquets are presented to these personalities who have eschewed secularism as a policy and want to enforce Hindutva and the Aryan culture and practice.
