Comments by Simranjit Singh Mann: Shiromani Akali Dal (Amritsar) states that as a constitutional head of a state, the Governor has three prerogatives, those being to be kept informed by his government, to encourage his government and warn his government.

If the state government is not giving information to the Governor then it is remiss in its duty and functioning.

Having said that the Governor should not give statements like strategic strikes into Islamic Pakistan as that would endanger his people too, the safety of which he is responsible to the constitution and his state and its people.
