Wrong advice given to NCERT by SGPC (Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee) which contradicts Sikh movement for freedom and independence. Simranjit Singh Mann, Member of Parliament.

Comments by Simranjit Singh Mann: Shiromani Akali Dal (Amritsar) states that in the wake of the Amritsar Declaration 1994 which was declared under the direct guidance and framing of this Declaration by the then Akal Takht Sahib Jathedar Bhai Manjit Singh and the leaders who participated in it, see picture below:

Why has the SGPC (Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee) written to NCERT to change the Anandpur Sahib Resolution which is against the concept of Sikh tradition and history after which the Amritsar Resolution was Declared? The SGPC (Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee) should give an answer to the damage done to the Sikh movement of freedom and independence.

The negative advised given by the SGPC (Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee) to the NCERT also annuls the SGPC unanimous Resolution of 1946 seeking and independent and sovereign Sikh state from the British after the British had decided to partition British India and give the Hindus and Muslims separate states of their own, leaving the Sikhs high and dry.
