Comments by Simranjit Singh Mann: Shiromani Akali Dal (Amritsar) states that the fact that those involved in the murder of four army-men in the Bathinda army cantonment have left their fingerprints on the rifle used for the killings, indicates that they are not professional killers but mere amateurs.

But it is a pity when the armed forces cannot guard their own cantonments, the question arises how they will guard the frontiers of the state?

Amateur decisions are being taken by the Hindutva Union Government in recruiting soldiers for only four years in which a soldier cannot become perfect in his profession.

As the country’s economic prospects seem to become weak this four year trained soldiers after leaving the armed forces will join the gangs which operate out side the law. But the Hindu who has no experience in governance is digging his own grave by tinkering with professional soldiery.

If the Hindutva BJP-RSS Union Government continues to play with the role of a professional armed force then the consequences will be felt by the entire population which will lose faith in its armed forces.

We hope the Hindutva state under Premier Modi will listen to sound advice.
