Shiromani Akali Dal (Amritsar) states that this is very bad news that the Punjab Govt. is not fulfilling its duties to the very end.
The Shanan project is a historic one and the Punjab Govt. should fight tooth and nail to retain it. It will be a shame if the Punjab Govt. is seen to be surrendering this vital project.
