Haryana is a primitive state. The inhabitants knowledge and taste is limited to buffalo milk, its butter and ghee. Days are spent in playing cards and Hookah (hubble-bubble) smoking. The men folk spend the time in this activity and holding their Khaps Panchyat.

As staunch chauvinists they do not work in their agricultural fields and leave that task to the fairer sex. Otherwise, in battle, they make good, brave soldiers.
