Comments by Simranjit Singh Mann: Shiromani Akali Dal (Amritsar) states that this is very sad and unfortunate incident that the Russian Intelligence Agency SVR, which has a special committee for assassinations of dissidents has murdered Mr. Alexei Navalny in jail.
Even the Hindu Indian Parliaments Committee (The Parliament Panel) has suggested such a committee for assassinations which has been formed on the KGB-SVR model. It has carried out assassinations of Sikhs abroad, Hardeep Singh Nijjar, Ripudaman Singh Malik and Sukhdool Singh were assassinated in Canada, Avtar Singh Khanda in UK, Parmjit Singh Panjwar and Lakhbir Singh Rode in Pakistan and Deep Singh Sidhu in Haryana, Subhdeep Singh Sidhu Moosewala were killed in Punjab.
The SVR assassination committee had on 23rd November 2006 poisoned a Russian Intelligence Officer Lt. Col. Alexander Litvinenko with Polonium-210.
We think the democratic countries should take a note of these assassinations by Hindu India and Russia assassinating dissidents.
Our party does not have the power to call for an UN or International Criminal Court at the Hague investigation, but the democratic countries must have these assassinations of Sikhs and Russians investigated and not leave any stone should be left unturned.
