The Tribune dated 03rd February 2024

Comments by Simranjit Singh Mann: Shiromani Akali Dal (Amritsar) states that as expected, The Tribune and its editor Mr. Rajesh Ramachandran supports extra judicial executions and attempts at assassinating Sikhs abroad by the Hindu Indian state.

He goes on to state that the targeted Sikh in the USA was a “designated terrorist”.

We want to know who designates terrorists? Is there a judicial court or some judicial system because designating Sikhs as terrorists is against the rule of law and the Principles of Natural Justice?

He must tell us the source of information about labelling the Sikhs as designated terrorist, as he could be taken to court for these derogatory and grotesque remarks against Sikhs in this country and abroad.

We hope that The Tribune trustees must call for his explanation as we Sikhs do not like to be described in this insolent manner.

We would also appeal to the US Congress that this is the manner in which The Tribune treats the sovereignty of the American Congress.

The Hon’ble Speaker of the House Mr. Mike Johnson must look into this demeaning editorial of The Tribune which demeans the Sikhs and challenges US sovereignty.
