Shiromani Akali Dal Amritsar states that there is no reason for THIS (Theocratic Hindu Indian State) to object to the British envoy visiting Pakistan’s Kashmir. Britain has a moral duty to visit it’s erstwhile colonies.
The whole of the Kashmir was a part of Lahore Darbar (Sikh Empire 1799-1849) and was merged with the Sikh Empire in 1819 after it was annexed from Afghanistan.
The Sikhs have no objection to the British visiting their old colonies.
