Comments by Simranjit Singh Mann: Shiromani Akali Dal (Amritsar) states that this plant is right on the LOC border with Islamic Pakistan. If this plant is privatized then any person whose integrity cannot be verified can get employment and sabotage the vital plant just like the Railway sabotage in Orissa. Mr. Adani who is a bigger for this plant does not have a good reputation.

Therefore, this plant must be run by the state, efficiently so that it does not suffer a loss and fall into the hands of saboteurs.
