Comments by Simranjit Singh Mann: Shiromani Akali Dal (Amritsar) states that the Sikhs have a historic relationship with Nepal, as after the fall of the Sikh Empire in 1849 the Nepal King gave political asylum to Maharani Jind Kaur, the mother of Maharaja Dulip Singh who was as a minor kidnapped to England by the British.

Therefore, after 1947 the Hindu Indian state has laid two economic blockages to landlocked Nepal.

First Premier Rajiv Gandhi laid the blockade and then present Premier Nerendra Modi followed suit.

Thereafter, Nepal had to look to Communist China for succour.

It is clear that the Hindu state drove Nepal into the hands of Communist China.

Our party wants THIS (Theocratic Hindu Indian State) to offer an unconditional apology to Nepal for this ruthless and cruel misbehaviour.
