Comments by Simranjit Singh Mann:- Shiromani Akali Dal (Amritsar) states that Chief Secretary must ensure all Circuit Houses are put in order and begin to function. Otherwise it will be thought that the Punjab is a failed state.

Moreover, Gurdaspur is a gateway to Jammu & Kashmir and for the Security of Kashmir, Gurdaspur is an important base. It has strategic importance.
