Comments by Simranjit Singh Mann: Shiromani Akali Dal (Amritsar) states that this is a serious case of sacrilege of the Sikh religion and we hope the Supreme Court would take it seriously and reconsider the verdict. Apart from the Commission of the crime of sacrilege, it is also a serious crime of vandalism in which the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) under the Union Ministry of Culture should intervene.

The Sikhs will not bare injustice as far as sacrilege and vandalism of their holy shrines are concerned.
