Comments by Simranjit Singh Mann: Shiromani Akali Dal (Amritsar) states that our party supports American policy making Pakistan stronger militarily.

This will add to its confidence and make it responsible.

Our thinking is that two sharpened swords remain within their respective sheaths.

The Sikhs do not want war in the Sikh Homeland and that is the reason that we seek independent buffer state between three inimical nuclear armed neighbours, those being Communist China, Hindu-Indian and Islamic Pakistan.
