Unjust of The Tribune to label Sikh’s as hardliners, extremists and terrorists. – Simranjit Singh Mann

Shiromani Akali Dal Amritsar states that The Tribune always labels the Sikhs as hardliners, or extremists or terrorists. But it never uses such accusations against the forces of Hindutva which ordered Operation Bluestar of 1984 and subsequently the genocide of the Sikh peoples perpetrated by Rajiv Gandhi.

We are sorry that the journalists in question mostly demeans the Sikh’s but never the genocidiaries, vandals, these very people who commit crimes of memoricide and ethnocide. We hope The Tribune and the journalist will keep a balance as sauce for the goose is sauce for the gander.

As far as Mr. Sukhbir Singh is Concerned, when he was with the forces of Hindutva then The Tribune did not label him as an hardliner, but since he has unleashed himself from these forces he has begun to be called as what The Tribune states he is.
