Why is Sikh history not recorded. ?The Sikh’s stopped all invasions from the North. – Simranjit Singh Mann

Shriomani Akali Dal (Amritsar) states that columnists who represent the Hindutva ideology must know that the history that has already been written by various past historians is somthing that we must learn from.
In this article why has the author forgotten that in 1699 the order of the Khalsa was created by Guru Gobind Singh. Soon after that Baba Banda Singh Bhadar created the cracks in the mighty Moghal Empire in 1710. He conquered the Sirhind Subha or province of the Moghal Empire. He created the first Sikh independent and sovereign state. South of Delhi the Moghal Empire had evaporated.
After this the Sikh’s became the masters of North India. The Sikh Misls hereafter contested every invasion from the North, may that be of Nadir Shah or Ahmed Shah Abdali. The Sikh’s harried the invaders at every step. Finally at Kup the Sikh’s met the armies of Ahead Shah Abdali head on. They suffered 32000 casualties and inflicted even more casualties on the Afghan’s. The second battle took place near Kup at Qutba where the Sikh’s got the upper hand. Finally the third battle with the Afghan’s took place at Gailon. Here the Afghan’s were totaly vanquished in 1762. Later Abdali died of the wounds inflicted by the Sikh’s.
Thereafter no invader from the North ventured into the plains of India. The Sikh’s had become the unquestioned masters of North India.
In 1799, Maharaja Ranjit Singh entered Lahore and founded the second Sikh sovereign rule. In 1819 the Sikh forces conqured Afghanistan. Kashmir was then a province of Afghanistan. The Kashmir province was annexed to the Lahore Darbar(Sikh Empire). In 1834 the Lahore Darbar annexed Ladakh.

We are sorry to state that since 1947 when the Hindu Indian state came into being , it could not keep Kashmir in one piece. In 1962 the Hindu state surrendered 39’000sq kms of Ladakh territory to Communist China. Again in 2020 Hindutva has given away 900 sq. Kms. of Ladakh territory to Communist China.
Our Party wants to record and ask why this shameless rule of Hindutva since 1947 is not recorded. We think it would do a lot of good to the author and the so called history writers like what he calls the Cultural Czar Munshi and others if they record the glorious Sikh history and The Tribune must edit such articles that glorify the so called ancient Hindu rule that is a myth.
