Theater Commands are not fit for the Hindu Indian state. Simranjit Singh Mann, Member of Parliament.

Comments by Simranjit Singh Mann:- Shiromani Akali Dal (Amritsar) states that it does not believe that theater commands will give a bigger trust to the Hindu Indian state as its territory is too small for such high thinking. In World War-II there were only two theater commands- the Atlantic and the Pacific.

May be the hardliners of Hindutva may be thinking that theater commands will help the Hindu Indian state get rid of the aggressors who have gulped thousands of squire miles on the Western, Northern and Eastern borders, when so far the Hindu state and its armed forces have always been in the retreat. How will the theater commands give the forces a greater thrust whose military equipment is old and obsolete? Almost 45% is good to be sent to the scrap dump.

Aircraft carriers are old hat today and sitting ducks for the missiles atop the Tibetan plateau. There are no latest fighter jets or stealth jets. Tanks are old and cannot start on the heights of Ladakh. There is no all weather road to the LAC though Communist China has built roads and railway tracks opposite the LAC.

The author speaks of National Security but when have the armed forces come out to protect the minority citizens when violent crimes like genocide are unleashed by the majoritarinas in power, either at the center or the state capitals.

In a two front war where will the Hindu Indian state find resistance fighters when all along the Western, Northern and Eastern borders the minorities have been subjected to violent human rights excesses?

We think on military matters the great Pundits must think of such matters before propounding their optimistic theories. Jai Hind and Good Luck.
