Australia must see the Sikhs as a separate people and nationality. Simranjit Singh Mann, Member of Parliament.

The Tribune dated 05th March 2023.

Comments by Simranjit Singh Mann: Shiromani Akali Dal (Amritsar) states that Sikhs must be treated separately and must know what problems the Sikhs have in THIS (Theocratic Hindu Indian State). The Australian Government should know that the Sikhs are a stateless people who have aspired to their own separate sovereign state, which was denied to them when the British gave up their Indian Empire in 1947.

The Sikhs then had a constitutional history of receiving a separate sovereign state as per their Anglo Sikh treaty of 1849.

From time to time the Hindu Indian state keeps tattling to the Commonwealth Countries that the Sikhs are radicals. This is an untruth. The Sikhs are fighting peacefully and democratically to have their separate sovereign state which would be a buffer between Islamic-Pakistan, Hindu-India and Communist China, all armed with deadly nuclear weapons and if such a war breaks out then their Homeland the Punjab, Kashmir, Ladakh, Himachal Pradesh, Haryana and Northern districts of Rajasthan would become the nuclear battle field, resulting in the entire elimination of the Sikh and Punjabi race.

We do hope that though Australia wants to keep a good relationship with THIS (Theocratic Hindu Indian State) but it must see the Sikhs and their history as a separate people, race and nationality.
