Shiromani Akali Dal (Amritsar) states that is was Indira Gandhi who gave the state the slogan Roti, Kapra and Makan but till today no government the Congress, Murarji Dusai’s, Charan Singh’s, Chandrashekar’s and the present BJP-RSS of Premier Modi has been able to implement this basic necessity of the poor down trodden people of which some face starvation and a roofless home, without warm clothes and heating in this utterly cold weather.
