Shiromani Akali Dal (Amritsar) states that our party is happy that the Governor has begun governing as he has Constitutional prerogatives, the first being the right to encourage is government, the second being the right to be kept informed by his government and the third to warn his government against any trespass and Constitutional misdemeanour.

We hope the Governor will see to the end that his observation of pollution in the Sutlej river is carried out by his government as precious river water life is being lost.
