Punjab and Gujarat are border states, then why is Gujarat more secure than Punjab, we need to know. – Simranjit Singh Mann.

Shiromani Akali Dal (Amritsar) states that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is enriching his state Gujarat with several projects, this one is about the transport Air Force carriers which he has intended that they be manufactured in Gujarat.(see advertisement)

In some other instances the Union Government in responding to an Supreme Court query has stated that Punjab is a Border state so, the Supreme Court may await a while before deciding on the fait of Sikh prisoners languishing in jails for the last 25 or so years. Now we want to ask the Prime Minister that since Gujarat is a Border state and also has a coast line why he has pitched such a vital military industry in Gujarat state.

This Defence industry can be destroyed by Special services landing on the Gujarat Coast or through a similar attack from across the border from Islamic Pakistan besides this it can also be hit by a missile. If the release of Sikh prisoners is difficult we want to know why Bibi Banno who was rapped and her relatives killed by right wing Hindutva fanatics in 2002 in Gujarat why having suffered life long convictions in jail, they were released prematurely on 15th August 2002 in a state, Gujarat which is again a border state and lies on the coast.

This dilemma needs to be explain why such decisions are being taken where the security of the state can be endangered.

The Union Defence Ministry and the Union Home Ministry who take care of the security of the state need to answer these questions.
