Comments by Simranjit Singh Mann: Shiromani Akali Dal (Amritsar) states that will the ninety nations taking place in this huge Jamboree take note of the humungous Human Rights violations taking place in Jammu and Kashmir and the states of Chattisgarh, Maharashtra, Behar, Jharkhand and Orissa against Minorities, Schedule castes and Adivavsis or Tribal’s.
The Sikhs who have a separate parliament known as the Shiromani Gurudwara Prambhadic Committee which came into being by an act of law in 1925, the elections to this House have not been held for the last 12 years as per its statute and is now a lame duck parliament.
The Sikh nation is democratic in its very nature and the Union Home Ministry of the BJP- RSS in Delhi is responsible to call elections every five years.
The Sikhs have been done out of their democratic practices and rights and during 1984 and 1985 barbaric crimes of genocide, memoricide, vandalism and ethnocide have been perpetrated on the stateless Sikhs with impunity by the Hindu Indian state.
Will the participating countries in this great Jamboree take note of the fate of the Minorities, Schedule castes and Adivavsis or Tribal’s? We hope they do .
