Comments by Simranjit Singh Mann: Shiromani Akali Dal (Amritsar) states that we don’t think that Drug Lords should get away with such an excuse and an outrageous argument that they are in the prison because of political rivalry.
All political parties, as per our party’s experience accommodate Drug Lords, especially those in power as Drug Lords gravitate to such political parties to enjoy their patronage and carry on with their nefarious activities.
Drug Lords are no friends of any political party. Their loyalties fluctuate with parties in power, which extend their patronage to such scalawags. In brief the proverb describes it succinctly – money makes the mare go.
