Comments by Simranjit Singh Mann: Shiromani Akali Dal (Amritsar) states that this may have been a sad day for Mr. Vohra and the Hindutva leadership, but editors of The Tribune Prem Bhatia, Times of India’s Giri Lal Jain, Indian Express’s Arun Shorie and Jagbani’s Lala Jagat Narain egged on Indira Gandhi, then the Premier, to attack the stateless Sikh’s with military forces from Britain, Soviet Union and Hindu India’s, all of which ended in killing the young Sikh leadership and committed heinous crimes of genocide, memoricide, vandalism and ethnocide.
These crimes were not committed by alien and foreign powers, but what we thought were our own people, forces, officers and politicos. But bearing all these barbaric crimes, the Sikh’s hit back with a vengeance which we hope the genocidaires will remember for a century and more, and just about let the Sikh’s alone as per their history and exclusive ingenuity of hitting back as in the 18th century the Sikh Misils invented.
