Persons calling on the President do not follow the etiquettes and manners. – Simranjit Singh Mānn

Comments by Simranjit Singh Mann: Shiromani Akali Dal (Amritsar) states that CM Bhagwant ji called on the President at Lutyens Presidential Palace, ill – dressed which was rude and audacious. He did not button up his waist coat at the time he met the President.
The President has a full staff of civilian, foreign service and military officers, all high ranking officers like a Military Secretary and military
Aide De Camps. It is the Military Secretary’s job to see that the visitors are properly attired before they meet the President. It is also the Military Secretary’s job to brief and advice the President about etiquettes, manners, meetings, toasts and formal dinners and the drinks to be served at various times.
We hope the President will read this piece of advice and from time to time dust the knuckles of the defaulters on occasions when found wanting.
It is also customary for the Prime Minister to call on the President once a week and brief her on essential Governmental working. Our Party thinks Premier Nerndra Modi does not follow this precedent.
