Comments by Simranjit Singh Mann: Shiromani Akali Dal (Amritsar) states that the Kurdish people are like the sui-generis sovereign Sikh peoples in the Hindu Indian state.

They are spread out in three countries Iran, Iraq and Syria. They like the Sikhs aspire for full sovereignty for themselves, concluding in just one state. The Sikhs have their sympathises for them.
