Extra judicial murders contravene Article 21 of the Constitution. The Supreme Court must take cognizance as per its duty. – Simranjit Singh Mann

Comments by Simranjit Singh Mann: Shiromani Akali Dal (Amritsar) states that our party is of the view that as per Article 21 of the Constitution no person should lose his life and liberty without following the procedure laid down by law.
Daily extra Judicial murders being committed in Kashmir by the security forces under the garb of the draconian law AFSPA (Armed Forces Special Power Act)) which gives the security forces the illegal and unconstitutional right to Kill, maim, torture, rape, kidnap, abduct, with impunity would mean that sometime in the future the Security Forces would have to face the charges of committing war crimes and hence being tried by the International Criminal Court at the Hague.
Therefore, it is essential that the Supreme Court which is the guardian of the constitution and the National Human Rights Commission take cognizance of these extra judicial murders, lest they too are held responsible for conniving with these humungous crimes against humanity and they must not forget the Nuremburg Trials after World War ll.
Nemesis is Gods revenge if rulers deny justice.
