The Tribune dated 16th April 2024

Shiromani Akali Dal (Amritsar) states that this must be the feeling of rightwing hard-line Hindutva leaders. But the minorities will not support abrogation of article 370 and 35A and the semi-autonomy of J&K having been taken away.
Even Supreme Court gave the judgement inline with Hindutva thinking. Such statements by Mr. Rajnath Singh will damage his march to the top post.
What is he going to do about Kashmir splitting in three parts, one with Islamic Pakistan, with Shaksgam Valley in 1963 when to Communist China and the other part with Hindu India? Ladakh also been handed over to China in 1962, then 2020 and 2022.
It would be best if Mr. Rajnath Singh looks after his ministry as Kashmir was brought into the territory of the Lahore Darbar (Sikh Empire 1799-1849) in 1819 and Ladakh was similarly made a part of the Lahore Darbar in 1834. As such Mr. Rajnath Singh and his band of Hindutva advisors should know the feelings about the Sikhs and their lost territories by diktats of the British Empire in 1947 and by the Hindu Indian state in 1966.
Sikhs have deep feelings and we are seeking a place under the sun as currently within the Hindu Indian state, the Sikhs are left with no space. The Hindutva diehards should think and solve.
