Shiromani Akali Dal Amritsar states that unemployment has reached such an extent that the youth had to breach the security of Parliament December 2023, enter it and throw cannisters of gas which could have been poisonous, killing some 800 Members of Parliament and thousands of Members of the Parliamentary staff.

This means that the BJP-RSS government that took office in 2014 has not been able to make good its promises to create jobs for the unemployed.

Further the scheme Agniveer meaning that the tenure of a soldier would be only four years is also a shame and unprofessional as it will put the security of the state at great risk and jeopardy.
