Shiromani Akali Dal Amritsar states that our party and the Sikhs are not taken into confidence as far as the Hindu states policies are considered.

The Hindu state should think of the Sikhs sentiments and emotions before making friends or foes.

The Hindu state must recollect that Operation Bluestar of 1984 in which the Hindu Indian state committed the genocide, memoricide, vandalism and ethnoside of the Sikh peoples. Vietnam and Palestine leader Arafat supported this extreme human and Sikh tragedy. Therefore we do keep a distance from the Hindu Indian state and its policies.
