The Hindu Indian state still buying old technological weapons and is gutless in facing Communist China’s PLA in Ladakh and NEFA. Simranjit Singh Mann, Member of Parliament.

The Tribune dated 18th August 2023.

Comments by Simranjit Singh Mann: Shiromani Akali Dal (Amritsar) states that this is a positive sign from the Sikh military point of view that the Hindu state is building frigates.

In the modern context of sea warfare it would be prudent to build more Frigates, Corvettes and Sub-Marines rather than bulky air craft carriers. Air craft carriers and bigger battleships like Destroyers are white elephants in modern sea warfare, as they are easy targets for the adversaries.

Communist China sitting on the roof of the world in Tibet can survey any battleship around the coasts of the Hindu state in the Indian Ocean. As such all big naval ships have become sitting ducks, as the lethal missiles can destroy them within a batting of an eyelid.

The Navy requires more stealth sub-marines.

However, our party does not understand why Prime Minister Narendera Modi has bought more Marine Rafael jets as they are not stealth jets or of the fifth generation fighter jets.

We don’t think that the Chiefs of Staff of the Navy, Air Force and the Army have any say in the purchase of modern weaponry. Some 45% and over, the weaponry of the armed forces is obsolete.

As far as the LAC is concerned and at Depsang planes, Charding Nullah Near Demchok which territory is about 972 sq kms, it is still strange that Communist China’s PLA is blocking Hindu Indian army’s patrols. Taking no action to open patrolling is cowardly and a defeatist policy of the Hindu states security forces. We think that if the PLA is obstructing the patrols the army should circumvent the PLA posts and resume patrolling to the last inch of Ladakh territory.

Internationally Prime Minister Modi is consistently visiting foreign countries and it must be embarrassing for him to face leaders of the countries he meets when they know that the Hindu Indian state is weak and cannot patrol its legitimate territory which was annexed in 1834 by the Lahore Darbar (Sikh Empire 1799-1849).

We are of the firm opinion that Premier Modi must cancel his foreign visit till he is in strength to open the army’s patrolling within Ladakh and NEFA.
