Shriomani Akali Dal (Amritsar) states that It must be known that Ladakh was annexed to the Lahore Darbar(Sikh Empire1799-1839) in 1834.
It is distressing for us Sikh’s to know that year after year this territory is being surrendered to Communist China by THIS(Theocratic Hindu Indian state).
In 1962 the Hindu Indian state surrendered 39’000 sq km of Ladakh territory to Communist China. Now in 2020 it has surrendered 900 Sq. kms. of Ladakh territory to Communist China. To our dismay civilians of Communist China have pitched their tents within the territory that was annexed in 1834, yet the Hindu Indian state is incapable of evicting these illegal settlers.
The Sikh’s must be associated in talks between THIS and Communist China. The Sikh’s do not recognise the imperial borders cartographed by the British in 1849, 1947 and by the Hindu Indian state in 1966, within the Sikh territories.
