Shiromani Akali Dal (Amritsar) is happy to state that the Supreme Court has kept the secular characteristics of the Constitution and saved a place of worship of the Muslims from vengeful and fanatic Hindutva elements.

We wish that previous Chief Justice of the Supreme Court Mr. Ranjan Gogoi should have kept these characteristics in mind at the time he delivered the judgement on the Ram Mandir at Ayodhya.

But unfortunately he accepted a sinecure from the Modi government and got a nomination to the Upper House of Parliament the Rajya Sabha, where he sits quietly, without a murmur like a timid mouse.
