Comments by Simranjit Singh Mann: Shiromani Akali Dal (Amritsar) states that old Russophiles of the Nehru – Gandhi era of the Hindu State and then BJP- RSS stupidly followed suit, flirting with Russia the Hindu state is now left in the lurch.
Who says Congress party and BJP- RSS are different? They are two sides of the same coin who have continuously betrayed their country since 1947. They have owed their allegiance to the RSS at Nagpur, rather than their country. Promotions in the military, the intelligence services and the Union Home Ministry must be made on merit. Why have the bosses of R&AW, intelligence Bureau and Union Home Ministry been given extensions in their respective service when they could not give the country information about the Communist China’s ingress, the Pulwama killings, Russia’s attack and invasion of Ukraine and its domino effect on Kashmir, Ladakh, Bhutan, Sikkim, NEFA and North Eastern states. Now since the USA and the European Union has put sanctions on Russia where will the future armaments and spare parts come from? Our Party had been cautioning advising the Hindu Indian state not to put all its eggs in one basket. It should have diversified its armaments from Germany, its latest tanks Leopard 2A7, war planes from Sweden as this country manufactures its armaments that can contest with Russian made arms.
In Ladakh skiing platoons, sledges pulled by dogs, old stationary tanks at the foot of every spur have still not been introduced, which can keep a vigil and fire from its machines guns.
Our Party has always advised that the Hindu Indian State should remain faithfully with Quad and not be flirting with the Russians. It must now be realized that it was foolish and unlike Bismarck’s military alliances and being faithful to them. But we can excuse the Hindu Indian state as it has no experience in history in running an independent and sovereign state. The only experience it has is the mythical and legendary state of Ayodhya.
We are sorry and commiserate with our dear Hindu leaders who have fought against their Minorities, Schedule castes and Adivavsis or Tribal’s, instead of guarding their borders. The Sikh’s will stand by Quad and NATO in this hour of need.
Our students in Ukraine should volunteer for military service instead of running back home to India in the hour that Ukraine needs them. Sikh’s amongst them must flex their respective muscles, pickup weapons, get a fortnights training in infantry and artillery weaponry and defend Ukraine against the invasion of Russia.
They must not forget that Indira Gandhi in 1984 invited the armies of soviet Russia and Britain and attacked mercilessly stateless Sikh’s in the Darbar Sahib (Golden Temple) in what was code named Operation Bluestar.
