The Tribune dated 19th December 2023.

Comments by Simranjit Singh Mann: Shiromani Akali Dal (Amritsar) states that the Rohinga refugees who have escaped from Myanmar as the government of Myanmar and also of International Peace Prize Winner Aung San Suu Kyi had virtually begin committing the genocide of these Muslim minority people. They fled to THIS (Theocratic Hindu Indian State).

Therefore, THIS (Theocratic Hindu Indian State) under International Law, I would like to reiterate that Article 14.1 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights clearly and unambiguously states that:

“Everyone has the right to seek and enjoy in other countries asylum from persecution.”

The Declaration on Territorial Asylum (1967) describes the principles on which states should base themselves in their practices relating to territorial asylum. One of the principles is non-refoulement: “the prohibition to forcibly send back a person to a country that is dangerous for the asylum-seeker.

As such they must be treated as refugees as the British Supreme Court has also ruled that Britain cannot throw out the refugees from Rwanda, under the same laws as we have quoted above.

Therefore, the Rohinga’s must get full protection as refugees in THIS (Theocratic Hindu Indian State).
