Secondly the suspension of 78 opposition Members of Parliament is an indication that an unannounced Emergency hangs over our freedoms and liberties.

It is now the opportune time to stand together and oppose the Nazi type of fascist regime that the BJP-RSS is bringing into the country, which will be even worse than Indira Gandhi’s Emergency rule (21-month period from 1975 to 1977).

It is time to stand together and oppose these draconian laws along with AFSPA (Armed Forces Special Powers Act) and UAPA (Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act) which are all undemocratic and against the liberties of the people at large.
