Shiromani Akali Dal Amritsar states that the Sikh representatives S. Hukam Singh and S. Bhupinder Singh Mann to the Constituent Assembly that drafted the Constitution they did not sign, the final draft of the Constitution on behalf of the Sikh nation as the Hindu leaders Gandhi and Nehru had diddled the Sikhs in joining the Hindu Indian Union but in the Constitution they did not mention the promises and commitments they had made to the Sikhs.

Therefore, Sikhs live in peace but since their leaders did not sign the Constitution, the Constitution is not binding on them.

The Sikhs reject the British Colonial boundaries of 1947 and the Hindu states boundaries of 1966.
