At ASEAN Modi forgets to mention Human Rights and democracy for Kashmir’s and the Sikh peoples. Simranjit Singh Mānn, Member of Parliament.

Comments by Simranjit Singh Mann:- Shiromani Akali Dal Amritsar states that while Premier Nerandra Modi made mention of the scouges of terrorism, extremism and jeopolitical conflicts and esserted the right of International navigation in the South China Sea as laid down by the UN Convention of the law of the Sea (UNCLOS), he did not mention the preservation of Human Rights and democracy, which the people of Kashmir have been deprived of since 05th August 2019 or the democratic rights of the Sikh peoples whose Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee which came into being by law in 1925 has now become a Lame Duck Parliament and elections to this House have not been held for the last twelve years.

On 15th September 2023 when we observes Democracy Day our party Shiromani Akali Dal Amritsar will be holding a big convention in Amritsar telling the world that the right of democracy has been taken away from the Sikh peoples and Hindutva treats the Sikhs like drum driven cattle.
