Last parliament in January-February this year damaged Premier Modi’s leadership. Simranjit Singh Mann.

Comments by Simranjit Singh Mann: Shiromani Akali Dal (Amritsar) states that this is a good article by Ms. Radhika Ramaseshan.

In the just concluded session of the Parliament senior BJP-RSS leaders did not come forth to defend Prime Minister Narinder Modi on the Adani, 2002 massacres, Ladakh and NEFA losses of territory and obsolete war machines, besides I raised the point of 60,000 Sikh farmers being divested of their farmlands and homesteads in Gujarat.

The Premier had to defend himself in both houses of parliament Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha while no top leader of his party came to his rescue.

On the other hand all members of his party were in praise of the development works for the poor he had initiated. Looking at these schemes I found that Mr. Modi had a soft heart for the poor as far as these schemes are concerned and if implemented sincerely.

The Opposition may not come to the fore immediately. But the negative propaganda and the raids on the BBC offices besides the Kashmir imbroglio and trade with Communist China which has occupied large tracks of territory in Ladakh and NEFA will do great damage to Mr. Modi’s personality.

Since no senior leader had come to Mr. Modi’s defence it appears that his leadership had been endangered.
