Comment by Simranjit Singh Mann: Shiromani Akali Dal (Amritsar) states, that in living memory, this is the second coup plot in Germany to overthrow a government. The first plot was during Nazi Germany when certain officers wanted to kill Hitler by placing a bomb in his meeting room. The bomb exploded but Hitler did not die.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Now again a rightwing plot to overthrow a democratic government in Germany has failed.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the last regime when Prime Minister Manmohan Singh was in office a rightwing BJP inspired army plot to overthrow the Congress Union Government took place but it did not succeed. The plot was covered by the Indian Express for which credit must go to it.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

However, Prime Minister Manmohan Singh thought it wise not to take action as the misdeed had failed and if action was taken the armed forces would be demeaned and their structure would come to harm.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Later the General who attempted the coup fought a parliamentary election, won and the BJP-RSS made him a state minister.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Therefore, we can presume that like the Islamic Pakistan military has the tendency to overthrow a democratic government, so does the Hindu Indian states military as soldiers and officers are of the same breed but differ in their respective religious beliefs.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

But power is aphrodisiac and since the lineage of the two militaries is the same, so power does go to the head and it is better to be watchful of such power driven soldiers.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

We do not understand why General Rawat\u2019s death in a helicopter crash was not proved fully, as it was mysterious.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
