The acquisition and the making of aircraft carriers Vikramaditya and Vikrant respectively does not impress our Party Shriomani Akali Dal (Amritsar). \u2013 Simranjit Singh Mann<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The launching of the aircraft carrier INS Vikrant is a mile stone in the history of THIS (Theocratic Hindu Indian state). The other aircraft carrier INS Vikramaditya which was purchased from Russia, a second hand carrier, brings about the export of Hindutva power in South Asia. The two aircraft carriers will take care of the Arabian Sea and the Bay of Bengal.
When I was jailed for five years by the Hindutva state, most of the period was spent in Bhagalpur Jail in Bihar. I was kept in solitary confinement, but one day a short man who was working in the premises walked up to me and said \u2013 \u201cMann Babu you think you are tall and strong but do you know that I am short in stature and if I whip out a country made pistol from underneath my shirt, I can put an end to your life.\u201d I replied stating that he was right.
In this day of warfare large aircraft carriers are easy targets for missiles from the air, surface and underwater. These lethal missiles have been stationed in Tibet by Communist China, which can see and scan all shipping in the Arabian Sea and the Bay of Bengal.
Our Party wonders whether having large aircraft carriers are a boon or hurdles in this age and time.
In World War II large battle ships like the Bismarck and the Prince of Wales and American and Japanese aircraft carriers went down quite easily and we must not forget these lessons as only on 14th April, 2022 a Ukraine missile shot down the Russian battleship Moskva in the Black Sea.
The question is that the Hindu Indian state has acquired Russian S-400 missiles. Could Naval authorities tell us why Russia did not use its S-400 missile to prevent the sinking of their prestigious battleship?
In the Falkland war Argentina used the French Exocet missile very effectively against the superior British Naval power. The Brits were left wondering what had hit them?
We think that instead of aircraft carriers the Hindu state should acquire more frigates, destroyers, corvettes and submarines, armed with all the modern armaments. They should be set to sail in the Bay of Bengal and the Arabian Sea to project the sea power of the Hindu Indian state.
The Hindu Indian state has a blue water Navy and a Coast Guard. But it does not have speed boats, armed to the teeth, to guard the shores from other navies and criminal elements. The attack on Bombay in March 1993 is one such example where the shores were not guarded. This means that there was not and is not any policing on the shores of the Hindu Indian state. Each police station on the shores should have such speed boats, constantly patrolling the shores.
In the end our Party would suggest smaller Naval crafts to sail in the blue waters, coasts and shores. Air craft carriers are now white elephants and most of the Battles of Panipat were lost to the defenders who preferred elephants and the invaders fast moving horses. We think we should draw lessons from history and not ape the Western military powers that have the backing of a huge industrial empire and can replace their damaged and sunk naval ships within days.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
